Christmas Card Lane

We love Christmas!

I get off a little early every Wednesday nights.

So, we decided to see Christmas card lane which is just around the neighborhood where i am working at.

We come here every year because we think it is really cool to have a community with a lot of Christmas lights and decorations.

 We love this one.(i love the guy in the picture more) It's our first time seeing train track in someones front yard. haha.I thought it was awesome.

Temple Lights and Christmas Music

Last Monday we went to temple for our family home evening. The Christmas music that the choir were singing and the beautiful lights around the temple makes me feel happy.It reminds me about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year and it is my favorite one.

Thanksgiving 2012 - The Journey Of Three Ginormous Meals

Once upon a thanksgiving we stuffed ourselves silly. It all began that morning when we woke up (all too early in Andy's opinion) to go to our branch's thanksgiving party. The food was great, so unfortunately we stuffed ourselves right at the start of our thanksgiving. Afterwards we went to some of Andy's relatives to have thanksgiving lunch style. We stuffed ourselves silly again and Andy lost to Stan in an eating competition. Grandpa jumped on all of us while we were on the couch (he had a little too much to drink) and spilled nuts all over the floor. After that we went to the Fontz' house to have thanksgiving level 3. Andy was done eating - but Jessica was still going. We played lots of fun games while we were there. Thanksgiving was spectacular.

Better Late than Never!

Here's our pumpkin carving of this year and we had so much fun!We did it with my siblings and some friends. We did it in group so it will be done faster. This is Andy and I's second time carving together.:) I was so sick but i still got to managed having fun!

Long Week

This week has been a long one for me and my hubby.I've been sick since last friday and i am just not happy about it.Like what my husband said "be careful on asking for vacation", i've been calling in sick at work for  a week but staying at home being sick is not the kind of vacation i wanted. I guess my husband is right. Last friday i got off work early beacause i only had 3 hrs of sleep and i wasn't feeling good,My throat started hurting that night and that is when my sickness started. From sore throat and now fever and coughing a lot. I feel bad that my husband is having a hard time sleeping because of me coughing and coughing and it wakes him up and i wakes him up too in the middle of the night because i am just really not feeling good. I am glad my husband takes care of me no matter what the situation is. Being sick is not fun at all especially missing work and having no income for a week. In the other side, i got to spend time with my husband. A lot of things happens but we should remember that we should be positive in everything that is happening to us. I am sick but we got a good news this week.Long week but we got blesings:)

Random Things.........

Today is just one of those days where there's just so much things in my mind.Or, am i just thinking too much?

Here are my thoughts:

*Nannying job is exhausting.
  -Dealing with kids sometimes make me loose my patients.Is that normal?I think it is.Kids are kids i know that and they need us to learn and grow.I love kids but today is just one of those days where i feel like i don't wanna be a nanny anymore. It's hard when kids are not in the good mood and just tired. I just wish they know grown ups gets tired too.

*I'm gaining weight :(
 -I need to exercise and eat less.I've been eating healthy foods but i guess i am eating too much. I gained five pounds since i got married.It makes me sad putting on my clothes and i can tell how it's getting tight.Another sad face:(

*Fifth monthsarry
 -I worked then Andy and I went grocery shopping with my sisters and my mom.Then we all went to Andy's favorite burger place to celebrate our five months being together. I love Andy so much and he is my everything. He makes my day so much better whenever he picks me up from work and every time i am with him.

*Urgent Care
 -Andy brought me to urgent care last Saturday because of my weird skin problem. We don't know what it is yet but i hope we'll get the result soon and i hope it is not bad. My face turned red and it was super itchy and i had bumps on my ankle and arms that are growing.It was super itchy, growing and swollen. They did some blood test and hopefully they will know what is wrong with me soon.

*Asus Tablet
 -I got it from Andy as his fifth monthsarry gift to me but I want to return it.(I ask for it and i just changed my mind.) I am just not happy with it. It's just like a big smart phone.

*Holidays
 -Can't wait for it. We've been busy doing some shopping to send to Philippines.I miss Philippines especially on holidays. Family parties,food,great company,friends and everything about it.haha.
I can't wait to spend time with Andy's relatives for the first time on Thanksgiving. I still don't know what's good to cook.(It has to be the best. lol) I can't wait to carve pumpkin on Monday with Andy.It will be our second time carving pumpkin together.And lastly, I can't wait to celebrate Christmas and New Year with Andy.It will be so much fun and it's gonna be an unforgettable one.We will be decorating our first Christmas tree together. I've been thinking on where to put the Christmas tree because we don't really have a space for it.haha.




I am so glad i feel better now. My day wasn't the best day ever but writing here makes me feel so much better. My husband is sleeping now because he has to work in an hour and that's the reasong i am writing here instead of talking to him.P.S... I miss him so much and i am glad i will get to spend time with him tomorrow after my work until Sunday.

 Fall Color

It's fall season but i still can't feel it here in San Diego. If you are living here and been here this time of the year then you know what i am talking about. It still feels like summer except last week when it poured.And yes it was chilly and i had to wear boots .

Last Sunday i thought i would wear something "fallish"..lol..

I love shopping whenever i find such a great deal.I got lucky last week when i went to target because i've been eyeing on this skirt for months and i just didn't wanna buy it because of the price. Long story short i found it the last one on my size in clearance.I got another one in apple green.It was the last one on my size too. I think they saved it for me. haha. I love it because of the color,the style and the length of the skirt and oh it has pockets!yay!Don't you love my cardigan too?I'm loving the ruffles by the buttons and the sleeves. This outfit is so girly but classy.

October 2012 General Conference

Last weekend we had the opportunity to listen to our living prophet,apostles and church leaders.I am so grateful for all those amazing talks.It was nice to hear that 18 yrs old guys and 19 yrs old girls can go on mission.I remember how much i wanted to go on mission before.Well, i guess Heavenly Father wanted me to  do mission to marry. haha. In 30 or more years, hopefully Andy and I will be able to serve together.Anyway, these are my favorites from general conference:

It  is nice to know how missionaries can help and how lucky we are to have them and serve God.Every member is a missionary.:)

I am so proud to be a Mormon.I am so grateful that i grew up in church and being able to know those blessings that I have and I can have if we live righteously and follow all the commandments.

I love How Pres. Monson said this because i know it is true that every girl need those special words.Every girl is beautiful.Heavenly Father loves us that he made everyone beautiful.(I am lucky to have a husband who tells me those words every single day.haha)

.....all i know is we should listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost because i know it is true that it will help us a lot!It will save our life in some instances..

Elder Hollands talk was so true and i am indeed grateful for the love that i have for my husband and the love he gives me every single second,minute,hour,day....

Loyalty is such a magic word that everyone needs.

Something New

Four and half months ago my husband and I entered the new world.

New world to be settle in.

New world full of adventures.

And married life is what new world is.

Things changed and we are happy for those changes.

We are growing up and learning new things everyday.

Bills and appointments here and there.

Dental appointment,

Urgent Care,

Attorneys appt,

Car registration,

Electricity bill,

House payment,etc

And those were some of the things we've been dealing lately.

September was a busy month for us.

But we are enjoying every new things in our new world.

So proud of my husband,

For his new calling at church.

I know he'll do great being the high priest pres.

and i'll always support him in everything he'll do.

A lot of things are new to us as husband and wife.

But we know we'll be bless if we do the right things.

Everyday is a new day of our journey.

And i'm so glad i married the best guy!

I'm so grateful for the decision we made

to be sealed in the temple.

And be together for time and all eternity.

Batman Blogging

So this is the first time I've done this (after much insisting by Jessica). You can ask my mother about me and my journal skills - I think I've written only one page of journal ever, in a journal i received when I turned 8... This makes me feel a little crazy because I'm writing about Jessica and I to who knows who will read this. Anyways, I'm the lucky guy who got to marry Jessica. I'm the opposite of Jessica, so we have tons of fun completing each other. She loves shopping - It bores me. I love math, drawing, making stuff, programming on the super basic level and pretty much all the fun stuff that puts Jessica to sleep X) And together we're pretty much the most awesome thing to have ever happened :)

Lately there have been a couple of developments - my younger (and quite taller) brother, Kenny, submitted his papers to serve a full-time mission for our church and received his call to Boise, Idaho! On a funny side note, he swore he wouldn't go if he got called to Utah or Idaho X) Guess the Lord really wanted to give the rest of us a laugh. We took a trip to the Redland's Temple for Kenny to receive his Endowments. (Kenny is on the far right)

Since then we've been spending a lot of time with him. We went shooting with my dad, ate all his pizza, had a dinner with my mom, and even went to Six Flags. I thought I was going to have to wrestle Jessica onto all the roller coasters after our experience on "Screamin California". But we managed to get Jessica onto X2, which is the most intense ride there, and after that she rode everything else - and without screaming O_o. Himala hahaha.

Kenny is now in Provo, Utah at the Missionary Training Center, where he'll stay for a while before being shipped out to Idaho. We miss him and his "kuteness"!

Random stuff: Jessica is still the most beautiful woman in the world. You shouldn't not wear your retainer for six months - its almost as bad as using a double negative in a sentence. Doctors are still scary. Motorcycle cops are evil. Jessica needs a super blender. Corvette Stingrays are still the sexiest cars in the planet and still too expensive for us. And of course, mahal na mahal ko si Jessica :)

Colorful Sunday!

This is my first attempt on posting my outfit.We'll see how long this will last. haha. This is what i wore last Sunday for church.It was a very hot day so i decided to just wear a really comfy dress and sandals.

The End of Summer 2012

To celebrate Labor Day(last day of summer) we went to Disneyland and California Adventure.We had fun but it wasn't a good time to be in Disneyland.TOOOOO HOOOTTT!!!CROOOOWWWDDEEEDDD!!!LLLOOONNNGG LLLIIINNNEESS!!!Can you believe we waited three hours in line just to ride CARS?They need to put shades for the lining area so people won't be waiting under the sun sweating like we were..Can you imagine standing in line for that long under the sun?That's more intense than waiting in line for the premiere of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.

My husband said it wasn't worth it waiting for that long but at least we can tell our friends we rode it already. ha ha..Anyways,hopefully when we go back there soon(we have the annual pass..yay!) the lines won't be that long anymore.Well we found out later that California Screaming is closed for some reason and that answers our question why the lines in cars are so long.Well i guess it's a new attraction also that's why people wants to try it like us.
